The value of an item often depends on a wide range of factors, including its condition, quality, usage, market relevance, and more. Completing a declaration of value is not always straightforward. For this reason, we would like to help you assess the fair value of your household belongings by providing the following guidance.
Items and furniture generally assessed based on replacement value include:

Period and antique furniture, solid wood or carved furniture, and handcrafted pieces

Valuable tableware and glassware (porcelain and crystal)

Decorative objects, mirrors, paintings, works of art, and rugs

Lighting fixtures and chandeliers
Our Guarantees
In the event that any damage or irregularity is identified, the customer must confirm any reservations noted on the delivery slip by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. Failing this, the customer forfeits the right to take action against the company.
Our guarantees are available in three levels:
Sky Blue Guarantee

Claims must be submitted within 3 working days

Covers items valued between €305 and a maximum of €762 per item or piece of furniture
Important : the declaration of value must be completed before the move takes place.
Important Information About the Vaglio Guarantee
Every consumer is covered by various types of insurance, such as home insurance, vehicle insurance, liability insurance, or family liability coverage. It is important to understand that compensation is subject to specific rules, particularly for items whose characteristics and value decrease over time due to wear and tear.
For this reason, Vaglio is committed to complete transparency and provides the following summary of depreciation coefficients used to assess value reduction.
Lifespan and Annual Depreciation Coefficient :
10 Years : 10%
Mattresses, bed bases, sofas, armchairs, machine-made rugs, large household appliances, hi-fi systems, video recorders, televisions, bicycles, etc.
8 Years : 12.5%
Standard furniture, chipboard furniture, cookware, and similar items.
6 Years : 16.66%
4 Years : 25%
Leather clothing, furs, bed linen, household linen for everyday use, curtain rails, curtains, small household appliances, mountain bikes, skis, sports equipment, and similar items.
Clothing, shoes, coats, paperback books and similar items, toys, sporting goods, computer equipment, telephone/fax devices, video game consoles, camcorders, tools, and similar products.
